With the Dothan High School Wolves set to host Bay High School for their first home football game of the season on Friday, August 21, Dothan City Schools Athletics is reminding fans of game-day procedures at Rip Hewes Stadium. These procedures help promote a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for students, employees, and spectators. 

Students in middle school and younger must be accompanied by an adult to enter varsity football games. Everyone entering the stadium will also be required to pass through the safety detection system.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to allow additional time for parking, ticketing, and stadium entry. Gates and concession stands will open one hour prior to kickoff for all home football games. General admission tickets are $10 and may be purchased online through GoFan. To purchase tickets, visit GoFan.Co/App/School/AL11774. Cash tickets may also be purchased on the home side of the stadium only. All media representatives, Wolf Card holders, coaching card holders, and individuals included on the pass list must enter through the designated pass gate.

Additional game-day procedures include:

• All fans over the age of 5 must have a ticket.
• Reentry is not permitted. Guests who leave the stadium must purchase a new ticket to return.
• Weapons, smoking, and alcohol are prohibited.
• The district’s clear bag policy will be strictly enforced.
• Accessible seating is available on the stadium’s first level. Guests may access this seating area through the entrance located beneath the stadium.
• Parking is free in designated lots.
• Proper passes are required for all reserved parking areas.
• Accessible parking is available in designated locations.

AED devices are located in the Leisure Services office on the visitors’ side of the stadium and at field level with team trainers. In the event of severe weather, fans should seek shelter in their vehicles. Anyone experiencing an emergency should call 911.

Dothan City Schools Athletics asks all spectators to uphold the district’s sportsmanship standard by bringing good energy, cheering for the Wolves, and respecting the referee’s calls.

• 6:00 p.m. - Stadium gates and concession stands open
• 6:15 p.m. - Senior banner recognition begins on Jumberton 
• 6:45 p.m. - Pregame ceremony
• 6:55 p.m. - Coin toss
• 7:00 p.m. - Kickoff

Dothan City Schools Clear Bag Policy

Approved Bags

• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12"W X 12"H X 6"D.
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (ziploc bag or similar).
• Small clutch bag approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap. This can be carried separately or within a plastic bag.
• Diaper bags, infant for which bag is being carried must be present.

All other bags are prohibited when entering.
